The speculations have been floating in the Indian car market that General Motors is planning to launch a new mid-sized sedan christened Chevrolet Sail for the Indian market which is currently represented by the Aveo sedan. As for new Chevrolet Sail specifications, the new sedan will come housed with a 1.2 litres and 1.4 litres of S-TEC petrol engines. As per recent reports the American car maker General Motors will use the alternative fuel technology like CNG and LPG in Chevrolet Sail in the near future. GM India has not unveiled any information about the new Chevrolet Sail price in India. It is expected that this new sedan will give its competitors like Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Tata Indigo Manza a chase for their money.

Renault Koleos Release Date in India

The Indian subsidiary of French auto biggie Renault is planning launch its new SUV Renault Koleos in India by the end of September. It is expected that Renault will unveil its first SUV in India at the Frankfurt Motor show next month. In a way to mark the forthcoming Renault Koleos launch company has launched a website which features the details of both Renault Fluence sedan and Renault Koleos SUV. Force Motors has launched their new car, Force One, on August 19, 2011 in Mumbai. The car was launched by the superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Force Motors has launched Force One with a single variant. But as per our sources Force Motors has announced the two new variants of Force One SUV by 2012. The current variant has been launched with only diesel model with a powerful diesel engine. The Force One price is Rs. 10.65 lakhs at ex-showroom Mumbai. The price may be same or may slightly differ in other ex-showrooms of other cities.

As per the Force One specifications , The Force One SUV has been made in such a way that it can run with high speeds in desert and high altitudes. Also a unique feature included in the Force One SUV is that the car can can start at -21 degree centigrade temperature. Other features of the car includes that the car has a powerful 2.2 litres common rail turbo diesel engine which can produce a power of 140 PS and a torque of 315 Nm. Some more features of the car reveals that the car has a dual mass flywheel, a low friction gearbox, high torque density, CED coated chassis, rack and pinion steering, three row seating, armrest with cup holders, etc. The rear row can be folded to increase the space for the baggage.
