New Toyota Corolla Altis with new looks

Japan auto giant Toyota launched the most awaited New Toyota Corolla Altis today. The launch event of the New Toyota Corolla Altis was organised at the Grand Hotel situated in Vasant Kunj in Delhi.

Taking a brief look on the specifications, New Toyota Corolla Altis has a 1.8 liter petrol engine. With major mechanical changes like presence of 7 speed CVT and dual variable valve technology, which works well with both intake as well as exhaust valves makes the new Altis a prized possession. As far as its power specs is concerned, the 1.8 litre petrol engine’s embedded with cubic capacity up to 1798cc and works at the efficiency of 140PS @ 6400 rpm and up to 173Nm of torque. The Toyota Corolla Altis petrol has advanced Dual VVT-i system which further upgrades its performance.

If we talk of fuel efficiency of this sedan which is being launched in two versions, petrol car delivers 15.22 kmpl while diesel variant offers 21.45 kmpl.

This lavish sedan comes in two engine variants, the petrol and diesel versions which have been re framed by the styling department of the company, have leveraged its quality to a different height. Headlamp are also re-designed to give it more swanky look.



Long before, news was airing that just because of occurrence of natural calamities in Japan, the Japanese car brand Toyota India found it difficult to carry out the production activity due to the shortage of raw parts required for manufacturing the sedan. Apparently, the launch of new Toyota Corolla Altis was postponed. But with lot of sincere hard work, Toyota Motors maintained the spirit to launch the car exactly on time. As per recent sources, Toyota Motors have pull up their socks to release the wide range of new models as per the declared time.

New Toyota Corolla Altis price is in the range of Rs 10.53 to Rs 14.77 lakh for the petrol edition and Rs 11.46 to Rs 14.55 lakh for the diesel edition.
