Today Honda Sail India Ltd has finally launched its most anticipated hatchback in the Indian car market at the Hyatt Regency, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi. This new modified model is fully loaded with advanced features. Earlier Honda India has not get much success with its older version due to its high pricing. With the re-considered pricing and upgraded features the all new Honda Jazz is looking to lure the Indian customers.
This new hatchback is available in three variants with five color options viz: Honda Jazz S, Honda Jazz Select and Honda Jazz X. As far as price is concerned the new Honda Jazz price commenced from Rs 5.5 lakh for its base model while the middle end Honda Jazz Select price is Rs 5.75 lakh and the top end Honda Jazz X is available at Rs 6.07 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). This new upgraded model is more elegant and stylish in looks as compared to its predecessor. Honda India is well known for providing high standard of comfortable interiors. The all new Honda Jazz specifications reveals that new Jazz features a driver rear seat height adjuster, climate control features and improved dashboard with darker hue along the air vents. In addition to this ABS and EBD are also added as standard safety features.
Looking on the technicalities part this all new Honda Jazz is fixed with a 4 cylinder, 16 valves, 1198 cc engine which is capable of producing a peak power of 90 bhp @ 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 110 Nm @ 4800 rpm. With this renewed price and advanced features Honda Jazz is all set to initiate a war in the hatchback segment. Skoda Fabia, Hyundai i20 and new Maruti Swift are the major rivals of new Honda Jazz.
